A Debt of Prayer

“Therefore He [Jesus] is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
Hebrews 7:25  (NIV)

“Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Whatever happens, give thanks, because it is God’s will in Christ Jesus that you do this.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NIV)

Dear Praying Jesus,

Thank you; thank you! You live to pray to our mutual Father, for our highest blessings! You intercede for all our needs before we know of them; you know them even better than we do ourselves. You have indebted Yourself to our wellbeing. You have bent Your ear, Your back, Your heart to love us completely and utterly.

It is an honor most glorious to live in the good of Your constant prayer for us. We are indebted to you and those you love, in the bonds of love. Let Your Spirit give words to each one to pray for each one. What privilege is ours, to ask that a child of God live fully the life You planned for them. You count this a worthy way to live, let us do likewise, and live too!

In Jesus Name Forever
