God’s Love Language

“Does a young woman forget her jewelry, a bride her wedding ornaments? Yet my people have forgotten Me, days without number.”

Jeremiah 2:32 (NIV)

“I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen!

Revelation 2:4 (NIV)

“Teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.”

Psalm 90:12. (NIV)

Dear First and Only,

We forget many things: keys, grocery lists, names, directions, appointments and worst of all the one event that altered our eternal trajectory.

How could we forget the time when we feared for our soul and were hopelessly lost, then suddenly found, by You? Brides don’t forget their wedding day bobbles; but over time they may forget the reason for them—the Groom. May it never, never be.

You took the time to come down and live to die for us. All because You wanted to spend Your time with us, on us, in us!

You speak our love language. Let us speak Yours— time. It is You, and only You Who make every moment count. There is enough time for every purpose under heaven. We purpose to give You the gift of our time. After all, isn’t this why You gave us an eternity of it?!

In Jesus Name Forever
