“Joseph had his chariot made ready… As soon as Joseph appeared before him, he threw his arms around his father and wept for a long time. Israel said to Joseph, ‘Now I am ready to die, since I have seen for myself that you are still alive.”  Genesis 46:29,30 (NIV)

“‘Take away the stone,” He said… So they took away the stone… Jesus called in a loud voice, ‘Lazarus, come out!’ The dead man came out… Jesus said to them, ‘Take off the grave clothes and let him go.’”  John 11:39-44 (NIV)

“He asked her, ‘Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?’ Thinking He was the gardener, she said, ‘Sir, if you have carried Him away, tell me where you have put Him, and I will get Him.’ Jesus said to her, ‘Mary.’ She turned toward Him… Jesus said, ‘Do not hold on to Me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to My brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, to My God and Your God.’” John 20:15-17 (NIV)

Dear Savior,

You restore that which was lost. The proof of this fact runs all through Your Word like a scarlet thread. These are just a few who were given back the one they loved because someone else made it possible. You are the Someone. You are the great Finder and Restorer of hopelessly lost relationships. You paid our debt to bring home sons and daughters to Your Father! You return us to Him alive! Father, Savior, Spirit, thank you for the sacrifice You made; suffering loss for our sake.  You are the Creator of the Ultimate Family Reunion. We will never be lost again!
