“Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. He died for everyone so that those who receive His new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, Who died and was raised for them.

So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know Him now! Dear Jesus, 

To know You is to love You. To love You is to desire to emulate You in every aspect of our life. You pursued and found us. You didn’t condemn us or leave us where we were. But You took us in and now transform us daily by the power of Your word and Spirit! You are beautiful in our eyes. 

Once we were marred by sin, but now we witness— Your words as our own, Your truths our reality, Your footsteps our path. Out of the ashes we rise! It’s a new day! A new me.
