Dear Lord,
It is not good to walk alone. If we fall, who will be there to lift us up (Ecclesiastes 4:10)? And motivation to do anything, so many times, is because someone else is counting on us to show up.
Jesus, You showed up so we could get up. You are the One waiting for us to start our day together. You mean what You say; we will never walk alone (Matthew 28:20, Hebrews 13:5-6). We are so thankful we don’t have to. Walking with You doesn’t lead to a good day, it is the good day. Lead on! We are here next to You, right where we belong.
