Dear Jesus, 

From the beginning, You have spoken and created light in our darkness. You are the Light. You bring Light. You illuminated what could not be understood. Your light guides us in the way we should take. Your light keeps us from stumbling. Your light is our comfort and joy. Your light pours forth out of Your Word and Your Spirit and gives light to our souls. Your Light encompasses all the truth of the Universe, yet fits in the smallest of places! 

Giver of Light, stream Your Radiance down on us. Lead us through the wilderness of earth. We can’t miss seeing You, the Only True Light Source. Live in the manger of our heart. Bring light into these dwellings. Let Light do what it does best— bring life and joy forevermore. You are the Light of my world!
