Undivided Heart

Hear me, Lord, and answer me, for I am poor and needy. Guard my life…save Your servant who trusts in You. You are my God; have mercy on me, Lord, for I call to you all day long. Bring joy to Your servant, Lord, for I put my trust in You. You, Lord, are forgiving and good, abounding in love to all who call to You…Among the gods there is none like You, Lord; no deeds can compare with Yours…You alone are God.Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your Name. I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify Your Name forever. For great is Your love toward me; You have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead. Give me a sign of Your goodness…for You, Lord, have helped me and comforted me.” Psalm 86 (NIV)

Dear Lord of Our Heart,

You put our fractured pieces together again like no one else could or would even dare. Thank you that in our distress we find Your Name upon our lips. Your love has knit our soul to Your own. We are confident that You know our needs even before we know them. You have a plan in place for every one of them to be met head-on in You. You are the Shepherd of our soul, the Healer of our emotions, the Guardian of our mind’s thoughts. We live free in forgiveness from You and free from the bitterness of an unforgiving heart towards others.

Keep us from straying. Teach us Your truths. Lead us in the path that You have ordained for us today. Let us be Your gospel messengers and Your kindness to others in this day. Strengthen us with the joy that comes from having a heart that can’t be divided from You. Unite our hearts to Your purpose for our today. You are our King and today we are right next to You. undivided!

In Jesus Name Forever

United to His saving purpose that the world hears the Gospel, and united to His promise of His return, is where we want to be every moment. It is our place of security, hope and sanity. ♥️
