Choose Door Number One

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me.”

Galatians 2:20 (ESV)

“‘But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served…or the gods…in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.’”

Joshua 24:15 (NIV)

Dear Magnanimous God,

Thank you for doing so much more than dying to pay our debt. That was the beginning! It was Your extraordinary plan all along to birth us as Your Own living, breathing children! We posses Your Holy Nature—our Father God’s own “DNA”—Your Holy Spirit!

We are not only saved from hell, but from living a life contrary to Your perfect will. How exciting to choose against our own tendencies to selfishness and choose selflessness! How amazing to react to circumstances in ways that don’t bring regret. How freeing to leave offenses behind. How lovely to be happy for another’s blessing. We were only wanting forgiveness; a fire insurance policy; and You gave us Yourself!

Help us lay hold of this extraordinary way to live; freely choosing to act like our Dad! Today, is a good and very good day to be alive in Christ who lives in me!

In Jesus Name Forever
