“For by works of the law no human being will be justified in His sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. Dear Grace-Giving God, 

In ignorance I thought of grace as something I could earn and store. It was some form of payment You would owe me for “service rendered.” But I could find no rest. No sooner had I “earned” it than it was spent to “cover” over my faults. My hopes of ever “getting ahead,” were sucked down into the black hole of my debt. This knowledge lead to the undoing of myself! I needed a Savior—You.

Thank you for walking into my life and filling it with grace. Grace– that undeserved gift that flows out of Your desire to favor me. Unmerited favor from the Creator of the Universe has been lavished on me freely! I didn’t pay, beg, borrow or steal. I didn’t manipulate, bargain, or falsify the record. I merely believed what You said You did for me and rest was mine. 

You gave Yourself as a Gift I could have for my very own, forever. This Grace is You—my Unmerited Favor! Now I can say, “I am my God’s favorite!” And it is wholly true!
