“Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; according to Your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Dear God, Righteous Judge, 

Against You only is all sin and rebellion. Our crisis does not begin the moment we realize we have one. It goes back to the beginning, in a garden, when we first rejected You. Through deception, we exchanged our relationship with You for a deadly lie. Promised we could have it all, we lost it all. We lost You. 

Immediately, we hid and blamed You and each other; something we are still doing in hopes of rectifying what only You can, and already have, in sending Your Son. 

Lord, remove the blinders of multiplied deceptions from us. Our help is from You, Maker of heaven and earth. Give Holy Spirit conviction to our land. We have fallen short of Your glory. Against You is our offense. Forgive us that we may see rightly to live with one another in the Joy of Salvation. Mend the original break between us and You with Your Original Promise– to send Your Son (Genesis 3.) Only He is the Answer!
