Dear God, 

You have no limitations. Therefore, there are no limits as to what You will accomplish in us. It’s not by our might or power, but by Your unconquerable Spirit. 

Lord, we have the Spirit’s joy in life when others only see the chaos that joyless people bring. But we rejoice in so many things: people are still being born, marrying, graduating, creating and living. People are seeing faces of friends, eating around their tables, blessed with rain and the sunshine that follows, sharing stories and laughter, sharing burdens and removing them. The joy-cycle is endless. Not least, we have the joy of our Salvation and Your eminent return! 

Joy can’t be taken from us any more than wetness can be separated from water. We have the joy of a sound mind renewed by Your Word. Joy can make us feel happy but mostly joy brings Your strength to every fiber of our being. Joy is our resolution and way of life.

All Powerful, Living, Loving, Redeeming Savior, nothing can evict You once You have moved into our hearts. Joy is not a feeling but a Presence—Yours! You are the Joy that gives us strength to keep on keeping on. We live in joy for You are in control with Invincible Joy!
