Dear Jesus, our God, 

You came down– just how far, we cannot comprehend. But no sacrifice, no cost, no loss to Yourself would give You pause. Your creation needed a Savior. So You came, both meekly and humbly. 

You unmasked what was formerly hidden and untouchable because of our sin. You showed us what could be restored to us– a relationship with the Living God. You are the Living Revelation of Ultimate Complexity! You were Who we lost in the Fall. Through every word, action, impulse and look, You showed us the Triune God, not made by human hands. Jesus, You are the Living Love of the Father, Who sent You as His Emissary, Peacemaker and Final Solution, to a lost world. 

Jesus, unmask us! Let our lives, now lived by the Person of Your Holy Spirit, show this same Triune God to all who walk the earth! Let Your Radiant Nature and Image be seen in us as You are in heaven. Your Image is the only “mask” we want to wear!
