Eyes on You

“Next Paul and Silas traveled through the area of Phrygia and Galatia, because the Holy Spirit had prevented them from preaching the word in the province of Asia at that time. Then coming to the borders of Mysia, they headed north for the province of Bithynia, but again the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them to go there. So instead, they went on through Mysia to the seaport of Troas.

That night Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!” So we decided to leave for Macedonia at once, having concluded that God was calling us to preach the Good News there.” Acts 16:6-10 (NLT)

Dear Maestro

You write and conduct the music of our life. You give solos and harmonies in the Magnum Opus of All Time! You give us significant parts in unexpected ways: grace notes, and pauses and swells. Just when we think we are done, You nod our way and the incredible happens; we are swept up into Your masterpiece, the score that is our life.

Some may not hear or understand— we do. We are Your orchestra. You know the flow and intensity of each day’s music, fitting us for the final Classic Piece! Tap Your podium so we are tuned in, on key, striking the right chord, singing the right words, eyes on You, our Conductor and Author. Take us through the twists and turns of a musical score only You could pen. Give words to music, ears to hear, and a submissive heart to follow the least directive of Your hand. Sweep us up into this Masterpiece of Love.

And Lord, let Your music , led by Your Spirit take us to where You are.  May we sound the melodies of a life surrendered to You, until our last note on earth is played and we enter heaven where the music never ends.

In Jesus Name Forever
