Dear Father,

Many questions enter our minds and often fears follow. We wonder if we will see the future we imagined realized. The world is subjected to earthly powers that don’t consider our hopes or our good. To them, we are problems to be dealt with; we are in the way of their quest for superiority. We would be undone if we failed to stop our spiraling thoughts by remembering You and Who You are. 

You don’t need to amass power; You are power. You don’t trample over us because we are in Your way; You place us in the center of Your Way. You aren’t lusting after worldly goods and things; we are the treasures You desire, seek, redeem and love. You aren’t looking for a religious people; You seek a relationship with those You created to be Your own. Quiet our souls with these assurances. 

You will not rest, until all is just as You planned. You will not rest until You have given us the rest You planned from the beginning. Your calendar of events is the Only One that matters! We trust You!
