“My heart is not proud, Lord, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me. But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content… put your hope in the Lord both now and forevermore.”
Psalm 131:1–3 (NIV)
Dear Lord of Life,
You create life. You redeem fallen lives. You love life! In You everything has its beginning, middle and end. All things work according to Your benevolent will, full of mercy, full of love.
Many are the things I cannot comprehend. Many things trouble and break my heart. But as I crawl up into Your lap, things look entirely different. Even though I may not comprehend the reasons, I comprehend You. I remember Who You are. I can rest my head on You and feel the beat of My Father’s heart. It beats for His children. And such are we.
In Jesus Name Forever
Amen! In Jesus Name Forever and ever……
