“You know, brothers and sisters, that our visit to you was not a failure. We had previously suffered and been insulted in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you His gospel in the face of strong opposition. For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. 4 On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from people, not from you or anyone else…”

Dear Father

 We long to move beyond our fears to sharing the only message that matters, Your Gospel! We take off all other masks of pretense. It is only Your love for the lost that motivates us. Let us be covered in the grace that transforms and gives a glory that cannot be hidden by any created thing. This is our holy privilege to cast wide the seed of the gospel. We trust Your Spirit to reap the harvest as only He can. 

The world still resists truth. But Your unveiled Love still seeks and saves. We love being a part of Your plan to save the world. We do it all for our love for Your Son.
