Together is Strength

“Epaphras…told us of your love in the Spirit. And for this reason, since the day we heard, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of His will with all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, making you able to live a life worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of Light. For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves, in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Colossians 1:8-14. (NIV)

Dear God of Wonders,

We want to ask for a productive day. We want enough grace and coffee to get going. We want to focus on NOT forgetting anything important. We hope to connect with You enough to stimulate the energy needed for the day’s requirements. Then, we see You in Your Word written expressly to us.

You want so much more for us than we want for ourselves.

You see our day according to Your higher ways. We think we are just trudging through another day and week. But You say we are walking with You, pressed to Your side, holding Your hand, doing what You do with You— having happy fellowship!

Thank you Father, for never leaving us where You found us; for giving us Yourself every day, all day. In short, thank you for loving us! It will be a good day—together.

In Jesus Name Forever
