“I (Paul) always thank my God for you because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus.  For in Him you have been enriched in every way—with all kinds of speech and with all knowledge— God thus confirming our testimony about Christ among you. Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed. He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.  God is faithful, Who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” 1 Corinthians 1:4-9

Dearest Jesus Christ,

We, too, thank You for calling us into an ongoing, transforming relationship with You. You know longer dwell in a temple, behind curtains keeping us out for our own protection. You no longer dwell in a temple made by human hands, but in us, the work of Your own hand. They paid for the materials to build it. But You paid with Your own blood to enter into our very souls. At any moment we can speak with You, knowing You hear the very beat of our heart. You even hear the words that cannot be spoken. You know each breath we take and will ever take. You ordain each one and sustain our existence.

We can’t stop loving You! Today is another day we can spend with You on the path You have ordained for us. To know that You Who hung the moon on nothing, flung the galaxies into space, prefers our company, gives meaning to our small but very important lives. You are our Life! We look forward to hearing Your voice and seeing the things we will do together. We thank you Lord, again. We can’t stop thanking You. Thankfulness, a lovely way to begin a day together.
