The Tetragrammaton

“God said to Moses, ‘Go, I Am sending you to Pharaoh to bring My people…out of Egypt.’ But Moses said to God, ‘Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out?’ And God said. ‘I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I Who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.’

Moses said to God, ‘Suppose I go…and they ask me ‘What is His Name? Then what?’ …God said to Moses, ‘I Am Who I Am. This is what you are to say…I Am has sent me to you.'” Exodus 3:10-14 (NIV)

Dear Great I AM,

So in awe of You were they, they would not speak or write Your full Name. They wrote YHWH instead, in fear and reverence of Who You are and all You do. This is the Tetragrammaton! Can I call You, in an age of super hero worship, My Tetragrammaton?! I want to worship the only One worthy of hero worship! I want to add my adoration, to all who worship the I Am, Tetragrammaton, my Savior, my awesome LORD!

Thank you for saving me out of my personal Egypt and expanding my view of You and Your universe. Thank you for slaying my kryptonite; sin, death and hell. Thank you for being with me all the time and not just for emergencies. Thank you for rescuing me everyday from the world, the flesh and the devil. I would have surely died if not for You.

Teach me. Mold me. Shape the clay that I am into the image of Christ that I might resemble Him. Take me under the cape of Your wings. Place Your mark on me. My devotion and hero worship is all for you,Tetragrammaton! I know Your Name and You know mine. We are intimately connected by the supernatural power of Your love. I call upon You, so high above imaginary super-heroes. Thank you for satisfying my longing to have a super hero with Yourself. You mean so much to me. You are my Tetragrammaton. I love You.

In Jesus Name Forever
